Tavistock Borough, located on Tavistock Country Club, is one of the smallest municipalities in New Jersey. As of 2023, fewer than 10 people call Tavistock home. The three homes in the borough are served by the Cherry Hill Public Schools, but according to censusreporter.org, all residents are older than 65. The borough split from Haddonfield Township in 1920 to escape blue laws that made golfing on Sunday illegal. The borough has one of the highest per capita incomes in the state.
