I’m proud to say that a portion of my annual earnings will go towards The Mural Arts Annual Fund. Contributions are absolutely vital for this beloved organization’s collaborative, art-based initiatives that transform people, places and communities. I share the sentiments of founder, and urban icon Jane Golden — “Art Ignites Change.” In its 35th year, Mural Arts engages communities in 50–100 public art projects annually and maintains its growing collection through a restoration initiative. Art is used as a catalyst to heal, to connect and to infuse a sense of power and purpose in all who participate and enjoy.
Every year, 15,000 residents and visitors tour Mural Arts’ outdoor art gallery, which has become part of the Philadelphia’s unique landscape and a source of delight and revelation. Philadelphia is the “City of Murals.” How great is that? To me, art should be accessible to everyone. In general, humans find solace and healing in creative reflection. Gazing up at some of the works throughout our great city allows me to connect in a very personal way to the communities where the art lives. Each mural is a colorful, curated tapestry of vision, hope and motion - much like the eclectic and diverse neighborhoods themselves. Creativity has an undeniable transformative power. It’s not only found on walls, it’s found in business as well. Each day, I work to transform the art of real estate, making the process easier, elevating the experience from start to finish and uncovering frictionless paths for people to actualize their dreams.
